This image is from one of The Adventures of TinTin which was written and illustrated by Georges Rémi a.k.a Herge. What i really like about this image is how simple the illustration is and how recognisable it looks compared to reality.
This illustration is from the Asterix and Obelix comic series. I especially like the contrast between the design of the two characters such as how Asterix is shown to round, brawny and imposing, and how Obelix is scrawny and short.
